We did it! The Volunteer Region hosted the Southeastern Fall Nationals in Oak Ridge TN. Car owners from all of the United States came together to celebrate the Antique Automobile Hobby and to enjoy the wonderful hospitality of East Tennessee. Thank you, volunteers, sponsors, and citizens of Oak Ridge, for making this national meet possible.

Members of the Volunteer Region dusted off their old cars and headed for Oak Ridge to learn more about the "Seret City." The first stop was the Oak Ridge History Museum, where hundreds of exhibits portray life in Oak Ridge during the Manhattan Project. After leaving the museum, the group caravanned to the regionally famous Big Ed's Pizza for lunch. The final stop was the K-25 Museum and it's new Interpretive Center. Then, we all bid farewell to the Secret City until we return in June for the Southeastern Fall Nationals.

April 20, 2026: The Volunteer Region traveled to Granville , TN to join in the festivities during the annual Mayberry - I Love Lucy Days. Several members drove their antique vehicles and displayed their cars in the car show. They also drove in the "Here Comes Everybody" parade. Brad and Beth Harris drove Don Knott's daughter in the parade, while RG and Sherry Lewallen transported "Charlene Darling." Prior to the parade, Volunteer Region member Scott Hill assumed the character of Earnest T. Bass. Other impersonators wandering the streets of Granville were Goober Pyle, Barney Fife, Floyd the Barber, and Lucy and Desi. We are looking forward to returning to Granville next year as one can never get enough of Mayberry or I love Lucy.

April 2, 2026: Members of the Volunteeer Region brought their antique cars and turned out to support the annual Top Wrench Competition, held each spring at Crown College in Powell. During the event, hundreds of high school and technical college students compete in various aspects of automotive technology. The Students were excited to see the Vintage vehicles and shared stories about their own rides. Thank you, Top Wrench, for allowing our club to participate in this great event.
